Christopher Robert Evans (born June 13, 1981) is an American actor from the United States. He began his acting career acting in TV shows including Opposite Sexual Sex in the year 2000. After appearances in a variety of teen films including 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he was noticed for his performance of the Marvel Comics character the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and the sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans appeared in several films based on comics and graphic novels including TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim and the World vs. the World (2009) and Snowpiercer (2013). In several Marvel Cinematic Universe film, such as Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2017) and Captain America: Civil War (2017) and also in film ensembles like The Avengers Age of Ultron (2017) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) as well as Endgame (2009), his portrayal of Steve Rogers/Captain America has earned him much more attention. The Marvel films have made him one of the most highly paid Hollywood actors.
